VILLACIN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL is a public high school located in the remote area of the city of Cadiz. It has a large number of student among each year level, ranging from 50-60 students per class.
The school has a computer laboratory which has 20 computers, but only ten computers were functioning and the rest were disabled. The lab was abandoned for almost a year since they had no computer teacher. The disabled computers were damaged due to the lack of maintenance. Dust was the primary reason of the damage.
The LADIES-niche group sees the need of the school to restore and regenerate the unused facilities as well as the need of the student to learn more about computer and to be able to adopt to the fast growing technology. It is obvious that the students were very eager and interested to have the computer training.
The group selected the fourth year students, sections GOLD and COPPER as the beneficiaries of the program. The training needs of the students is the BASIC COMPUTER OPERATION.
This blog was created due to the demand that online journal is an effective way of broadcasting. We want the internet society to know our group - the (Leaders that are Active, have Determination in Imparting their Skills about Computer) and we also want to feature out what we are doing and our experiences in our training program. This blog serves as our journal for our training activities.
